Stephen Palmer is a painter based in South East London.

He has exhibited work at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions, the National Portrait Gallery (BP Portrait Competition), the Royal Festival Hall, the South Bank Centre, the Royal College of Art (UK Youth), Dulwich Picture Gallery, and many others.

He exhibited regularly at the biennial Hackwood Festival; has shown work in 8 Discerning Eye exhibitions over the past nine years and in 2011 he won the Discerning Eye 'Hicks Prize'.

He also paints and exhibits in France and won 1st prizes at the Journee des Peintres at La Flotte-en-Re (2006) and at Loix-en-Re (2008).

He is represented by Jenna Burlingham Fine Art (Kingsclere, Hampshire), GrandyArt (London), and Moncreiff-Bray Gallery (Petworth, West Sussex).
